  1. DELIVERY POLICY
1.1 Order Processing
  • Subject to availability and receipt of payment, orders will be processed within 3–7 working days, unless otherwise stated.
  • Processing times exclude weekends and public holidays.
1.2 Delivery
  • Delivery is available within the Republic of South Africa only.
  • Once dispatched, customers will receive confirmation via email or SMS, including a tracking reference number (where applicable).
  • Delivery timeframes may vary depending on location and courier operations.
1.3 Stock Availability
  • All orders are subject to stock availability.
  • If an item becomes unavailable after purchase, Clean Cart will:
    • Offer a full refund, or
    • Offer an alternative product of equal value (subject to customer approval).

Refunds for unavailable items will be processed within 7–14 working days.

1.4 Risk and Packaging
  • Clean Cart takes reasonable care to ensure that all products, including liquid products, are securely packaged for transit.
  • Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery.
  • Customers are required to inspect parcels upon delivery and report any visible damage within 48 hours.
  • Claims for damaged or defective goods must be supported by photographs and proof of purchase.

 

  1. RETURNS & REFUNDS POLICY

This policy is subject to the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

2.1 Cooling-Off Period (Online Purchases)

In terms of Section 44 of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, customers are entitled to cancel an online order within 7 calendar days of delivery.

If cancellation occurs within this period:

  • The goods must be returned unused and in original packaging.
  • The customer will be responsible for return shipping costs.
  • Clean Cart will refund the purchase price within 30 days of cancellation.

 

2.2 Standard Returns

If you are not satisfied with your purchase:

  • You may request a return within 14 calendar days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging.
  • Proof of purchase is required.

Returns will not be accepted for:

  • Opened or used liquid products (unless defective)
  • Products damaged due to misuse
  • Products not in original condition

 

2.3 Defective or Damaged Goods

If a product is defective, damaged in transit, or incorrect:

  • You must notify Clean Cart within 48 hours of delivery.
  • We may request photographic evidence.
  • Clean Cart will arrange collection or replacement where applicable.

Where a product is confirmed defective, customers may choose:

  • A repair
  • A replacement
  • A refund

In accordance with the Consumer Protection Act.

2.4 Refunds
  • Once returned goods are received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original method of payment.
  • Refund processing typically takes 7–10 working days, depending on your financial institution.

Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our part or a defective product.

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is due to a defective, incorrect, or damaged item.
  • Clean Cart reserves the right to deduct return courier costs from approved refunds where applicable.

  • Any additional payment methods made available at checkout

All transactions are processed via accredited third-party payment providers.
